Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-10-26

This policy explains what information Goli (the website and the Goli mobile app for Android and iOS) handles when you use it. Goli shows football scores, results, line-ups, statistics and tables. It does not host or stream any video.

No account, no personal profile

Goli has no sign-up and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or photos, and we do not build a profile about you.

What is stored on your device

• Mobile app: the language you choose is saved on your phone so the app opens in that language.
• Website: two cookies, each kept for one year: lang remembers your language, and tz stores your device's time zone (for example "Africa/Kigali") so match times are shown in your local time. Your browser's local storage also remembers which competitions you opened or closed. All of this stays on your device and is not used for advertising or tracking.

Technical data when you connect

To show scores, your device connects to our server, hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, it receives technical information that every internet connection carries: your IP address, the type of browser or device, and the pages or data requested. This is used only to deliver the service, keep it secure and fix problems. Our hosting provider may keep these logs for a limited time. We do not sell or share them, and we do not use them to identify you.

Connections use HTTPS, and the data exchanged between the app or website and our server is additionally encrypted end to end.

Content loaded from other services

• Team crests, competition logos and player photos are loaded directly from the image servers of our sports data provider. Those servers receive your IP address and device type when an image loads.
• The mobile app may download its typeface from Google Fonts the first time it opens, which gives Google your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

Match data comes from our data provider through our server. No information about you is sent to them by Goli.

No analytics, no advertising

Goli currently uses no analytics or advertising services and no tracking cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated first and, where required, your consent will be asked.

Children

Goli is a general-audience sports service and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because Goli does not keep personal information about you beyond short-lived technical logs, there is usually nothing to access or delete. You can clear the language setting at any time by clearing the app's storage or your browser's cookies.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
